At Sandringham Financial Partners – Darlington we provide financial peace of mind for a fair flat fee. As opposed to many firms who charge you an ongoing fee based on a percentage of the assets you move under their advice, we charge a flat fee based on the amount of time it takes us to complete your annual review and update and maintain your Cash Flow Plan. Our flat review fee is £1,975 p.a. For more information please visit our Fees and Charges page or to see if you could save by a move to flat fees please visit our fee calculator.
Cash flow planning is a tool which we place at the heart of the advice process. It allows us to produce detailed projections about your financial future based on what information we have available today and a number of forward-looking assumptions. These insights can be particularly helpful in providing answers to some of the bigger questions, such as ‘how much income can I expect from my pensions in retirement?’ or ‘when can I afford to retire?’
Sandringham Financial Partners are a leading national financial advisory firm with an excellent reputation for compliance. We consistently maintain high levels of client satisfaction evidenced by being VouchedFor’s largest Top Rated Financial Advice Firm for 2020. As part of Sandringham Financial Partners, our clients benefit from their significant research and technical capabilities as well as compliance support. We believe that as part of Sandringham we offer the best of both worlds with the personalised service of a smaller office but with the strength and resource of a large national firm.
Independent Advice means that we are qualified to give advice on financial products from any provider. This is in contrast to a restricted adviser who may only be able to provide advice on a limited range of solutions. By working with an independent financial adviser you can be assured that you will receive a recommendation that is suitable for your needs and circumstances.
There are many reasons but if I were to pick 3:
Decisions you will face about retirement have been made increasingly complex by the greater degree of choice brought about by recent pension legislation changes and some of these decisions are very high stakes. The risk of getting these decisions wrong can be very large and, in some instances, once these choices have been made you cannot reverse them.
Working with a financial adviser has been shown to have a significant benefit over the long term. In 2019 a report produced by the International Longevity Society quantified this benefit as being an overall increase in wealth of £47,706* compared with similar individuals who did not receive advice.
By working with a regulated financial adviser you are protected. If you receive bad advice you have the right to complain and raise this with the Financial Ombudsman Service to have this redressed. It is important to check that your financial adviser holds the appropriate permissions and regulatory standing. You can check details of the firm on the FCA register here.
We work with a wide range of clients with varying investment and financial planning needs, however we specialise in retirement planning and pension and investment advice. If you are wanting to begin to put in place plans for your retirement then please do get in touch.
We believe that investing in a diversified portfolio of assets which is in line with your attitude to risk, capacity for loss and investment time horizons is the most suitable way to manage investments. We make use of both active and passive solutions depending on a client’s needs and objectives. In addition to this we are able to make recommendations on ESG, Ethical and Socially Responsible Investments.
If you are looking to make money quickly by timing the market we are probably not the best fit. If your requirements lie outside our field of professional expertise we will always endeavour to direct you to someone who can help you .
Yes, we are happy to work with clients across the UK. We do not work internationally as our clients must be UK resident for tax purposes.
No, whilst we do encourage clients to visit us in the office where we are set up to present information to you as easily as possible, we are happy to meet you wherever is convenient for you (Home, Office, Café etc.) or we can arrange a video call (via Zoom or Microsoft Teams) or a telephone call.
No, the first meeting is at our cost and is an opportunity to answer your questions, discuss what your goals and objectives are and whether we are a good fit to work together. If you would like to proceed from that point our fees and charges would become payable.
For pensions, investments and most other types of work we arrange our fees with you. We provide you with a choice of paying these directly to us, or by deducting the applicable fees from your recommended product. We will make clear all fees and charges before you proceed with any advice.
In certain instances where we might recommend a financial protection or life assurance product we will be paid a commission on these products by the recommended provider.
In all instances we will make clear any commission we are due to receive by way of a recommendation before you proceed with the advice.
In many instances the products we recommend are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, meaning you are entitled to £85,000 of protection. Full details can be found at https://www.fscs.org.uk/
